Just Chill, Bro

"When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be." - Lao Tzu, founder of Taoism

In the current world we live in, action is seen as the only way to complete objectives. Constantly being busy and solely goal-driven is seen as a virtue; as the only thing necessary for true, unique success.

But that doesn't work for all scenarios.

All scenarios are different.

Sometimes, we need to step back, take a break, and breathe

The amount of anxiety in our current world is staggering, and rarely do we ever consider to stop what we are doing, and take a deep breath.

We think that the only way to achieve our goals is through constant work and pushing ourselves to the max. You may not think of it, but constantly being in that state of mind makes you not trust the process, something vital for anyone who wants to achieve their dreams.

You have to trust the process. Trust that God or the Universe, whatever you wish to call it, will mold your life to fit your dream, like some sort of constant divine intervention.

But what about the setbacks, you may ask? What about all the hard times where we need to work our hardest? How is that divine intervention?

Well, think of it this way.

Look back into your life. Think of all the hard moments. All the sad ones, and especially the heartbreaking ones. You passed them. You overcame them. You know how I know this? It's because you're here with me, reading this right now.

You overcame those obstacles and events that seemed so apocalyptic. You were panicking, stressed, and scared, but hey, you turned out okay.

Not only did you turn out okay, but you learned from them. You are now a more mature and wiser version of yourself due to these "unfortunate" events. Without them, you wouldn't have been able to improve, having a way less chance of being the type of individual required for achieving your greatest endeavor; your dream.

It's as if God or the Universe lets those bad events happen all for your self improvement and growth.

Seems like a divine intervention now, doesn't it?

Unfortunately, we will most likely go through more of these events in the future, but having the mindset of letting go and being patient will let you learn more, thus becoming a better, smarter, and wiser individual.

These events usually occur from things which we can't control, so why not let go? Just do what you can, and God or the Universe will take care of the rest.

So trust the process and let go. Believe with all your heart that no matter what happens on your journey to finding your greatest self, you will turn out okay.

Trust that you will simply become who you want to be.

Don't get me wrong though, mental contemplation can be good and keep you disciplined, but no amount of stress will help you achieve your goals.

I'm pretty much asking you to chill and relax for a bit. Don't burn yourself out. You don't always have to be in a state of doing.

It's just like trying to build muscle. Yes, you have to go to the gym to break down muscle tissue, but the muscle grows and rebuilds itself in a state of rest.

Who knows? Maybe that's the one characteristic you lack. Maybe you're working too hard, and giving yourself a mental break is what you need in order to see your improvements manifest.

Just chill, bro.
